UPCOMING EVENTS

  • WRPPA

    Wellington Region Primary Principals Conference

    4th/5th April 2024

In line with the conference theme of Defying Gravity, Kagan is all about “Helping extraordinary teachers Grow extraordinary people”.

We will be at Stand 29 (by the Dietary Requirements buffet), so do come and see us and find out how we can help your school defy gravity.

There will be free giveaways, and the opportunity to book us in for school trainings at a special WRPPA rate.

On the Friday at lunchtime, we are hoping to run a quick session using one or two of our Classbuilding structures, so keep an eye out for that.

  • COOPERATIVE LEARNING

    AKO MAHI TAHI

5 Days or day by day

    Book this for your school!

Back by request, this school holiday workshop is the Goldmark in engaging every student in every learning session. Start your school year knowing exactly how to manage student movement, use positive behaviour management, set up learning teams, and develop a safe, inclusive and harmonious class culture.

Ideal for new teachers and those seeking to teach smarter, not harder.

If you would like to host this workshop at your school, you will receive free entry for two staff members.

  • COOPERATIVE MEETINGS

    LEADING BY EXAMPLE

    Days 1-2

Book this for your leadership team!

Leaders seeking to create a cooperative and cohesive school will embrace the ideology behind this two day workshop. Covering relationship development, professional development in-house, and decision-making processes, it will provide you with practical and proven strategies to ensure your staff feel engaged, safe, and appreciated. Turn every meeting into an opportunity to build trusting and respectful relationships.

Empowers leaders to model best ‘teaching’ practice in every meeting, so it’s perfect for Team Leaders, Curriculum Leaders, and Senior Management.

  • KAGAN INTRO SESSION

    AKO MAHI TAHI

    60 MINUTE AFTER-SCHOOL INTRO SESSION

If you’d like to know if Kagan is the intervention you are looking for, then this free intro session is the perfect way to experience the Kagan difference.

During this session we will cover what is and isn’t cooperative learning, student engagement, and how to create positive classroom environments.

We can tailor it to match your context, and build in an FAQ session.

Feel free to add on a modelling/fishbowl session in classrooms before the event.

“Our focus on Kagan Cooperative Learning Structures has been fundamental in giving teachers the means to become more effective.”
